The First International ‘Culture Plus’ Forum closed yesterday in Moscow. From my point of view, it has been an extremely important event as it brought up several topical questions emerging on the borders between culture, economy and politics: arts/business relationships and creative industries which is still a rather mysterious issue for Russia. The Forum was held by the Cultural Policy Institute with the support of the Committee on Culture, the Moscow Government; the Association of Cultural Managers, and some other orginisations.
We have invited to the studio today ‘the principals’ of the Forum: Mr Mikhail Gnedovsky, Director of the Cultural Policy Institute, and one of the leading experts on arts/business relationships, Mr. Colin Tweedy, Director of Arts and Business, UK.
